Wednesday, the 19th of July 2023, Gabriel Bareux, R&D Director of RTE, Ludovic Vallon, Chairman of MasterGrid and Hubert de la Grandière, CEO of SuperGrid Institute, signed a partnership agreement to address a major environmental challenge facing the power grid industry: finding an alternative to the use of SF6 gas (most potent greenhouse gas used for its excellent insulating properties) in existing electrical installations.
