Michel MERMET-GUYENNET’s keynote speech at PEDS 2019
This Tuesday the 10th of July, Michel MERMET-GUYENNET presented a keynote speech at the 13th IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems (PEDS 2019) in Toulouse, following the invitation of Bernado COGO from the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Institute of Technology (IRT Saint Exupéry). In his paper, Michel MERMET-GUYENNET presented power electronics technologies for MV and HV grids.
Michel MERMET-GUYENNET has been working in the field of power electronics for twenty years. In his keynote speech he highlighted the technologies developed by SuperGrid Institute such as DC-DC and MVDC converters as well as Solid State Transformers. SuperGrid Institute has made significant progress in the field of MVDC converters which have many possible applications and a high potential for collaboration in the aeronautics and railway sectors where reducing equipment size is an important issue. SuperGrid Institute also has an extensive expertise in Silicon carbide (SIC) components, which correspond strongly with embedded systems’ needs.
