SuperGrid Institute shows its commitment to equal opportunities in a mentoring partnership with Télémaque

For several months now, SuperGrid Institute has been partnering with Télémaque: an association that supports young students via a mentoring system that connects a mentor from the business world and a mentor from the educational environment with each mentee. In 2022, 6 SuperGrid Institute employees joined this grand adventure, becoming mentors thanks to funding from the company.

Our employees met their mentees for the first time in April. After their initial meet ups and outings, the time came to show them the world of work! A visit to our headquarters in Villeurbanne took place this Wednesday, the 1st of June 2022, where mentees dove into the electricity network and their mentors explained all about their work for energy transition. The young mentees appreciated visiting our test platforms!

Mentoring is designed to give young people confidence and broaden their horizons. It is intended to provide access to new cultural activities, it creates intergenerational bridges and pathways to educational and professional success. We are proud to be contributing in our own way to helping young people in the region and, most of all, very pleased with our group of volunteer employees’ commitment to this project!
